The year 2008 is coming to a rapid close. And for all those who may have possibly had their head under a rock here are just a few of the best and the worst of the year.
Best Dressed:
Number 5
Mary kate and ashley olsen. Well what can i say with their very own clothing line which is a version of Couture meets hobo, the pair has definetly left their mark in the world of fashion.
Number 4
Kanye West. Topping this years international best dressed in vanity fair, Mr West is no stranger to fashion. Setting trends everywhere to those crazy stripped glasses to his infamous red skinny jeans, kanye weathers his struggles this year and manages to make our best dressed list.
Number 3
Sarah Jessica Parker. Known for her babydoll wardrobe ms S.J.P seems to be always ahead of the rest. Also making vanitys fairs international best dressed, Ms. Parker makes our list with ease.
Number 2
Chanel Iman. With a name like that its no wonder that Fashion is in her blood. So young but so Fashion Forward Ms. Iman struts shows her style on the runway as well as the streets.
Number 1
Rihanna. When she dyed hair the whole world did. And when she chopped it off nearly every lady in america grabbed their scissors. Rihanna is known for her trendsetting edgy style so it should be only natural that she graces our countdown with the number one spot.
and now for the real top spot:
The real Number 1
Drumroll please..............
K.tru and C.nice because we were like smokin hot this year too!!!!
And now to the ugly........
Worst Dressed
Number 5
Amy Winehouse. Im not sure what hurts me more to look out her frail body frame..or the sad excuse for clothing on it. Either way she makes our list for worst dressed celebs in 08'
Number 4
Fergie. To those who vibe with her she is considered a great entertainer but for all that look at her wardrobe it is considered an eyesore, which is definetly why fergie made the worst dressed cut.
Number 3
Katt Willilams. Ummmm its not to hard to see that mr. williams may be funny but so is his wardrobe.. I mean honestly was he serious or is this apart of the comedy act. none the less Mr. katt williams makes our list of worst dressed celebs
Number 2
Lindsey Lohan. I dont know she has really hit the ground with this one. Going from a fairly decent if not well dressed celeb to completly hobo and not the hobo Couture like "mk and a" just hobo! SAD! but sadder that she had to make our list.
Number 1
T-pain. It should be no surprise that mister i look like i just got of the circus stage made our top spot for worst dressed celebs on 08' I dont wanna speak to soon cause im sure he will out do himself next year.
Best Songs
Number 5
"A millie" by Lil wayne. Had everybody even chris brown attemting remixes and of course had the whole world jumping
Number 4
"With you" by Chris Brown one of the best songs and one of the most overplayed this year.
Number 3
"Paper Planes" by MIA although this song just began its circulation this year its actually pretty old but despite that it still makes our list.
Number 2
"Whatever you like" by t.i sprouted up the boom of fake ballers. dudes everywhere telling females they can have whatever they like knowing good and well that they themselves couldnt even have whatever they liked.
Number 1
"Single Ladies(Put a ring on it)" by beyonce this years biggest female anthem. Making ladies everywhere memorize the catchy song as well as dance moves and also promting them to tell dudes everywhere that they better put a ring on it.
Most Defining Moment in 08'
From one mans dream to the reality of a nation. This year marks one of the most historic elections in U.s history, by electing the nations first african american commander in chief it not only made history but showed us that despite the past this country is open to change. Mr. Obama single handly makes the cut for our defining moment 2008
..... and now with less than four hours left to go until the new year, we here at Reporting Live would like to leave you with this piece of advice. A new year means a new beginning so be sure follow year dreams, and don't let anyone slow you up. Okay guys well this concludes or best and worst of the year hope you enjoyed our highlights. Cause its now time to send up a prayer for the new year and then party hard. SOOOOOO Have fun! Be Safe! Drink Responsibly! And have a Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!

Even if you are not a very big fan of politics than you definitely became one this year. To close out one of this countries most historical elections, Time magazines accolade of person of the year was awarded, and to no surprise given to Barack Obama the next president of the United States and the hottest president besides J.F.K if i might add. Anyways the award had some runner ups and to my surprise and probably yours too Sarah Palin republican vp nominne made the cut . I dont know i guess they felt bad for her because in my opinion she is certainly no candidate for vp much less a candidate for the person of the year, but the most deserving person won, so thats all that matters!

Okay so today was the release date for a few cd's in the r&b and hip hop world that could potentially be worth more than coasters on your coffee table. Miss. Keyshia Cole one of are favorite rhythm and blues songstresses heavy on the BLUES released her third album entitled "A different me" The album is suppose to be more of an upbeat happier keyshia and less of the "I should've cheated", "Let Go" distraught love life Keyshia that we are all used to. I don't know I personally hope its not like the mary j. situation when she all of sudden started producing happy music that left us all asking umm what happened to the depressed Mary because we could not vibe to the new stuff. I guess will just have to see. today also marks the release of actor/singer Jaime Foxx's album in the hip hop and r&b world, entitled "Intuition" , and surprisingly so far i have actually heard all good reviews. but hey it is up to you to decide. You tell us.......Bump it! or Blow It!
A lot has changed since ten years ago, true. Divorce rate is increasing. People just don't seem to be faithful anymore... but publicly "teaching" individuals to cheat is utterly sick. What happened to the happy family that everyone's ever wished for? What happened to being in love. Or if not in love, what happened to only caring about one girl/boy at a damn time. Shit like this pisses me off because they're making it seem as though its OKAY to cheat. It's okay to have a "team" and play games with your girls and/or boys. HEllll nah. From a girl's point of view, I HATE when dudes call you their "main." F that, I need to be your ONLY boo. I think a lot of how individuals in our society act now-a-days is based upon what they see/hear in pop culture. Such as hit songs, movies, blah blah blah. It's 4am and I'm mad. I don't know what else to say, but CHEATING IS NOT THE ANSWER. Build a happy home lol! That's where you get the support you need, that's where you get the realll affection, and that's where love and happiness is. Lol I ain't trying to preach to no one but farrrealll though, what's the use in playing games? You switch from girl to girl, boy to boy, and you end up no where. Square one fool. You ain't got shit but some good cuddy and it ain't even yours to end up with. So let's face it... don't promote this cheating crap, and let's complain to Complex. Hahah... they're my people though.. so I don't know. Go cop an issue and read it, see what they have to say!

If you’re anything like me than most of the preceding information is probably new to you: Guy Fisher was one of Harlem Worlds biggest Drug Lords during the1970’s so big in fact that he was able to become the first Black man to purchase the Apollo Theater. Unfortunately for Guy the demise of his empire and ownership of the Historical Apollo Theater would soon come to end. Okay so let’s rewind a little bit, there was a man by the name of Nicky Barnes aka Mr. Untouchable I’m sure most of you are familiar with him, he was depicted by Cuba Gooding Jr. in the blockbuster hit American Gangster. Anywayz this Barnes character was sort of like the mentor to Guy Fisher; he molded him and showed him the ropes of the drug world at that time. Now fast forwarding a little bit it would later be Guy Fisher whose success in the drug business became comparable if not surpassing that of his previous mentor Nicky Barnes, soon after, both Barnes and Fisher were indicted for several drug related charges. Prosecutor and later New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani proposed if Barnes would work with investigators to basically rat some of the rest of the drug lords involved with New York drug trade out, then they could possibly see about lowering Barnes life sentence of imprisonment. Well long story short Barnes sang his little heart out in regards to his previous protégé: Fisher causing him to be convicted where he is still serving the remainder of his life sentence in

Not only are we here at “Reporting Live” Celebrating the birth date of the Big Homey, we are also paying homage to one of the south’s very own fallen soldiers: Pimp C. Today marks a year-to-date of his untimely death. So at this time we ask all “Reporting Live” readers to remember the impact rapper Pimp C has left not only on the south but on the hip-hop community nationwide!

Lol we got too much of Jay-Z on here... but speaking of, I hear Blueprint 3 finna drop in 09, and the list of confirmed tracks doesn't sound so promising either. "Jockin' Jay-Z" and "Swagga Pt. 2" ain't really cuttin' it...
But check out his new song produced by Kanye, "Brooklyn We Go Hard" featuring Santogold.. looks like another hit anthem for them Brooklyn folks.

Greatest rapper alive Jay-Z and the critically acclaimed diva Beyonce Knowles earned the top spot on the Forbes' list for richest

Reviews : Bump It or Blow It?: Creme De La Creme Mixtape
Something you normal folks can't feel. Give it a listen. Has some of the greatest underrated artists such as Blu and Mickey Factz. Also many upcoming artists like Carter and Pacific Division. They all tight; definitely something on another level.
We just feel like opening up to the world 'cause apparently, we have a lot of knowledge stored up in our heads. Under construction though; stay tuned.
In the mean time, check out this album set to release today:
Not a big fan of Scarface, but heyyy we're from the southside of Houston too and we gotta pay some homage, ya dig? Not gonna front, this cd sho' goes hard.. Peep tracks 3, 6, and 11.
Track 3 "Forgot About Me" is automatically gonna be some kind of hit 'cause all H-town listens to is Lil' Wayne and Bun-B. Sad, but true. Track 6 "It's Not A Game", there's just something behind this track that goes hard...maybe it's the chick. But it's one of the more chill songs.. And track 11 "We Need You," who ever thought we'd be a fan of Wacko from UTP? This song goes hard though.
