Last day of the month so black history ends today... although corny as it may be its everyday to me. We've come along way and we are still making history.. from record high statistics being constanly broken in sports, to beyonce being the first black women with a fregrence, to halle and denzel being honored at the acadamys and leaving their mark.. til more recently and significantly the first election of our black commander in chief which by the way im sure their will be many more of those to come.. the list of blacks and their herioc efforts that shaped us as a race today goes on we'd literally be here all night..anywayz i saw this collage and thought it was pretty cool. to me it means a collective effort that we as black people have been putting forth since damn near the beginning of time to get to the point where we are now.. And it feels good... might i say! However sadly This does conclude our black history month segement.. and i hope you learned as much as i did and until the next time we bag something............

with less than a month before rapper t.i sets out to serve his one year sentencing for gun possesion with the feds.. t.i apparantly makes a stop at a court house to encourage teens heading down the wrong path.. this was a part of the deal to lessen his sentence by the way.

he says to the teens as he stresses his point on living a positive lifestyle..anywayz..as far as the fans goes t.i's latest album paper trail is in stores of course and he will be realising a mixtape entitled "Gone til November" in hopes to tie over all those t.i fiends in his absence.. in the meantime here is a track from that mixtape called "Get that money" ENJOY!

Did you ever realize since kidz we have always proclaimed this ish about being differnt, yet in the process of diffrentiating ourselves we end up blending in even more. Ha i know that concept has always tickled me. but its just intersting to me how (musically) everyone these days is turning to a new more innovative sound and trying to revolutionize their music when in reality these cats are sounding more and more alike each time i cut on a radio.. Although im late This post was sparked when watching an episode of making the band and notcing Diddy recording his THIRD album in the dreadful AUTOTUNE aka ELECTRO HIP HOP, now if you are anything like me the sound of a robot over a beat is not perceived as music. From Kanye, Wayne, and T-pain the apparant poster children for the sound to what seems to be the rest of the hiphop community. this ish is literally spreading like a virus. I just heard a joint with lil kim not that she matters much, but to no surprise queen bee amongst others has turned to the dark side too. My only question is when did supposed orginality become so unorginal. IDK but This just slays me everyone screaming orginal this, im differnt that, but the only thing i see is everybody trying to be everybody else. Its no wonder these dayz i find myself listening to more coldplay! Someone save us please. HA!

His wife had filed for a divorce because of ongoing domestic violence issues, OBVIOUSLY thats not to hard to believe seeing as this guy behaded her. Anywayz she went on to file a restraing order on this guy, who apparnetly disregarded it and chopped off her head. By far one of the most gruesome murders since King James!

Okay so we all know exactly whats going on seeing as it all over the radio, and the web and if we don't then here is a brief run down. Yesterday before the Grammys Singer Chris Brown will be facing allegations of domestic violence.. And who might be the victim you ask none other.. than Ms Rihanna herself. Supposedly a number of things took place causing Mr. Breezy to ruff Ms. Rihanna up. There are also said to be visible bruises on the alleged victim. I don't know i wasn't there and what goes down between them is all on them. But unfortunately we are Reporting Live..meaning we Report this ish. In the meantime Chris is facing a possible Ten year sentence for the domestic violence charges and has Wrigley's doublemint contract has been temporarily suspended so for the time being we will not be able to watch him and see what he can do with his feet. I do however hope all this stuff subsides and that Chris of course learns his lesson but doesnt have to learn it behind bars.

Okay so this month as we all know is used to honor the efforts of African Americans in the past that who dedicated their life to change. So with that being said i figure periodically through out this month i will showcase the efforts of one particular African American and the leeway they made:
ARTHUR ASHE
(1943 - 1993) was the first African-American to not only be named to the U.S. Davis Cup team in 1963, but to also win the U.S. Open in 1968, to win the men's singles at Wimbledon in 1975, and the first to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1985.
LeToya Luckett is back with her sophomore album titled "Lady Love", set to drop on April 7th! Her new single is out on Urban Music radio called "Not Anymore". Check out the song below.
